Burton Anderson
Tuscany
When it comes to a tasting of Italian wines there is no English-speaking person on the planet more qualified than Burton Anderson. Originally from the mid-west, Burton moved to Europe in the seventies to work at the International Herald Tribune. Settling in Tuscany he has since produced numerous books on Italian wine and food. Some of his works include: Vino, the Italian Wine Atlas, Treasures of the Italian Table, Burton Anderson’s Best Italian Wines, 101 Italian Red Wines, 101 Italian White Wines, and Wines of Italy.
Although he is considered the English-speaking expert on Italian wine, he is by no means pretentious, he is just passionate about good food and wine. He will speak to us about Tuscan wine and olive oil in an interesting and educational early evening tasting.
